Up to Snuff:
EIA/TIA Re-defines the standards!
The EIA/TIA has issued TSB 67 which re-defines three levels of specifications related to the capability of equipment used to test structured cable plants. Level 1 is a specification limited to cable and component manufacturers and related laboratory equipment. For the rest of the world, Level 2 and 3 defines standards for portable field test equipment. Level 2, the level employed by Connectivity, is the highest standard.
Although Level 2 test equipment is significantly more expensive, Connectivity uses only Level 2 thus assuring that all cable plants installed by us not only meet, but exceeds the highest standards. As John Troy, President of Connectivity puts it, "We feel it is our responsibility to assure that each network installed is ready to accept the increasing signal speeds of future technologies and in so doing we are able to provide the best guarantee and warranty in the business." To assure that your network is certified to these new specifications contact Connectivity at 603- 893-4441.
